Who we are

HII-TSD is currently seeking an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Mission Planner for a position supporting a US Government customer at Ramstein AB (Kaiserslautern), Germany. The ISR Mission Planner will work as a team member providing on-site expertise in coalition ISR imagery exploitation, integration, product development, and training. The ISR Mission Planner will play a critical role in verifying the quality and ensuring compliance for imagery and other ISR Mission Materials.

What you will do

  • Fully support all applicable US Government (USG) and Department of Defense (DoD) programs and policies.

  • Serve as the lead team member and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for quality assessments and quality control of all ISR Mission Materials and products.

  • Provide experience based expertise in USAF DCGS, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) and NATO standards.

  • Develop and/or provide direct inputs into coalition ISR Mission Materials including Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs), checklists, operating procedures, and other materials directed by USAFE-AFAFRICA/A2.

  • Support and/or host USAFE-AFAFRICA/A2 coalition partner orientation sessions. Capture feedback from participants and include those recommendations in future iterations of coalition ISR Mission Materials.

  • Assist and/or lead development of agendas, checklists, briefings, information sheets, and other related materials for use in coalition partner orientation sessions.

  • As directed prepare documentation in support of project implementation, including but not limited to, technical solutions, project plans, requirements documents, project support agreements, and change requests.

  • Assist in determining standards for ISR Mission Materials and other products produced during coalition ISR operations. Review and validate products in accordance with quality standards. Develop reports and provide feedback to coalition ISR mission crews.

  • Maintain personal accountability of all assigned equipment and devices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 1 year experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.

  • Experience in USAF or USG ISR systems, capabilities and programs.

  • Experience writing, developing, or conducting quality assessments on operational products such as checklists, operating procedures, and TTPs.

  • The ability to prepare professionally written documents, products, and briefing materials. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • A mission oriented, team focused approach to supporting our customer.

  • The ability to think, operate, and execute autonomously or as part of a small team.

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI

Preferred Requirements

  • Recent experience with the European Partnership Integration Enterprise (EPIE).

  • A history supporting military ISR programs in the European and African Areas of Responsibility.

  • Prior work history involving USG or DoD customers and programs.

  • A willingness to continue learning and improving, sometimes in the context of assuming new responsibilities or duties.

  • A desire to teach, coach, and mentor supported individuals and teams.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
