JOB DESCRIPTION Job Number: 202482 Department: VM Federal Way - Outpatient Surgery Center Hours: 0700-1600Sign on bonuses available for experienced OR RNs. Up to 10K for full time- pro-rated for part time. Our outpatient surgery center in Federal Way has a 32 hour per week opening for an experienced Operating RoomCirculatingRN. We may also consider someone for 24 hours per week.Our OSC has (2) two OR Outpatient surgical suites. We perform day surgery for adults and pediatrics on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. We have a small cohesive and collaborative team. Surgical specialties include Orthopedic, Podiatry, General Surgery, ENT, GYN,Vascular and Urology. The AmbulatoryOR CirculatingRegistered Nurseis responsible for providing high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health, functional health status and safe passage while receiving an invasive surgicalor interventional procedure during an episodic or series of visits.As an AmbulatoryOR CirculatingRegistered Nurse you will:Demonstrate technical expertise while supporting the patient and the care team during the episodic visit where interventions and procedures occur.Use the nursing process to support a patient in achieving an optimal level of wellness as defined by the patient.The Ambulatory OR Registered Nurseassists patients to achieve optimum functional health status and safe passage throughout their procedural experience.Provides skilled assessment and triage, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources,The AmbulatoryORRegistered Nurseassists patients/families, staff and systems to achieve high quality, evidence-based, cost-effective, and patient-focused outcomes.Nursing care provided by the registered nurse reflects the nursing process through an integration of knowledge, skills, experience, and attitudes needed to meet the needs of patients and families.Qualifications:Current Washington State licensure as an RNCPR certification is required every two yearsBachelors of Science of NursingStrong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting, current working knowledge of electronic medical records.We are also willing to consider per diem and more part time or full timeIdeal candidates with have current or recent OR circulatingexperience and ACLS.
