    01 The Job

    As Director of our one-time-giving and recurring cause-based product lines, you will be responsible to provide leadership and drive significant annual growth of business. You will have responsibility for overseeing P&L and marketing penetration goals for the Mass segment division; and will work in conjunction with our go-to-market strategy, partnering closely with marketing channels, creative and content, programs, and solution teams.

    Through a deep understanding of our donors and segments, and World Vision’s programming work in the field, you will lead a team of product marketers to enhance current products and design new products that differentiate us in the market and increase awareness, consideration, and ultimately giving. You and your team will also design exceptional donor journeys/experiences for new and existing supporters that are mobile-first and impact led, that result in improved loyalty, engagement, and extra giving.

    1. Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role. 2. Lead segment and product strategy for the sponsorship or non-sponsorship mass marketing portfolio, ensuring product performance and revenue growth are in alignment with division goals. 3. Utilize in-depth understanding of assigned donor segment(s) and industry trends to assess viable opportunities that drive donor retention and acquisition, including the design and oversight of exceptional donor journeys. 4. Responsible to oversee mass segment portfolio management, marketing and P&L for sponsorship or non-sponsorship products. 5. Develop and communicate segment and product plans for defined strategies and lead in the development and implementation of tactical action plans that will win in the market place through alignment with donor needs. Collaborate with marketing and channel teams to strategically develop long term segment/product plans. 6. Ensure that revenue goals are met or exceeded, including return on investment. 7. Establish strategic focus, objectives, dashboard performance indicators and work plans. Regularly monitor results, uphold accountability and support integration between WVUS, International Programs and Operation/Support teams. 8. Design and drive the creation of new products, including creation of product marketing materials to guide channels on selling mass products. 9. Lead product team in partnering with IPG teams to achieve alignment in the development of funding priorities with field needs, regional strategy and Partnership initiatives. 10. Influence and build relationships across World Vision Channel teams to increase revenue and acquisitions to increase the effectiveness of the WVUS ministry. 11. Collaborate with colleagues throughout the WVI Partnership to drive the implementation of global segment and product marketing goals and strategic initiatives. Represent WVUS interests, influencing the global strategy by providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise. 12. Present strategies and results to senior leadership. 13. Provide product marketing support to all channels using mass market products. 14. Hire, fire, train, counsel, evaluate, and recommend salary increases and promotions for those under direct supervision. 15. Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team. 16. Perform other duties as assigned. 17. Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience (8 years). Master's degree preferred. In addition to education or education equivalent, requires at least 8-10 years of related marketing experience. A minimum of two years supervising a marketing team preferred. Previous experience managing a budget with product and sales goals required. Experience to include responsibility for P&L.
