Excellent opportunity for highly motivated individual to assume the Senior Manager of Business Controls role within the Controller’s organization. The organization offers opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a growing accounting department and develop global processes to sustain flexibility as the business needs change. Job responsibilities subject to change based upon alignment of processes within the organization.
Primary responsibilities include:
Lead the Business Controls team in the selection, deployment and maintenance of business controls related software, including providing functional expertise in supporting the BlackLine, DPS (Denied Party Screening), and ePolicy tools. This position works very closely with our customers, including the World Headquarter and Area Controllers, Business Controls Council, project leads, and 1,000+ global users to ensure the technology platforms we support are optimized to improve their processes and add value to the Finance function. The Business Controls Team works closely with our customers to define their requirements and configure the above tools and content, including opening and closing 100+ SOX assessments annually, deploying several ARMS modules globally across all business units, etc. Specific responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to:
Facilitates identification, evaluation and selection of business controls related software
Provides project management for the deployment of business controls related software and software enhancements
Provides administrative support for all modules of BlackLine
Creates new SOX assessments annually
Coordinates integration and user acceptance testing for application changes
Manages help desk support, maintain documentation such as user guides, process flows, and training materials, and conduct and coordinate training sessions and user conferences
Performs support activities for Hyperion Planning and FDMEE applications, including metadata changes, rule changes and data copies
Applies ACE tools, including performing QCPC analysis on turn backs
Education / Certifications:
B.S. in Accounting, Finance or business or related field
MBA, a plus
Experience / Qualifications:
10+ years of related experience working for a fast-paced organization
Public accounting, auditing and/or internal controls experience
Candidate must be a high performer and must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, project management and facilitation skills, as well as a passion for technology and the ability to interact and influence effectively across business units and functions, and with all levels of finance management
Candidate must have strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail
