Job Description Summary

Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Manage GE Aviation Know Your Supplier (KYS) Program, working across GE Aviation commodities and Business Units to drive efficiencies into supplier onboarding and governance programs and ensure alignment with regulatory and GE Enterprise Standard Requirements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own supplier onboarding compliance process for all direct and indirect GE Aviation suppliers

  • Identify efficiencies in supplier onboarding/update process to help streamline and shorten process

  • Review 3rd party assessments and make business decisions about future engagement

  • Create KYS dashboard to share and communicate with senior leadership. Ability to data mine and manipulate large volumes of data to identify trends and focus on key indicators

  • Lead regular leadership reviews covering new suppliers, supplier changes and associated risk areas

  • Serve as Aviation focal on all GE Corporate and Cross Business KYS related working groups

  • Drive change within your function and across the business

  • Utilize interpersonal skills to influence and bring team members to consensus

  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Present business solutions to leaders in functional area.

  • Communicates complex messages and negotiates internally and across businesses to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution

  • A minimum of 5 years in Sourcing, Compliance, Contracts, or related roles.
