Pacific Western Bank Card Services Specialist in Escondido, California

Overview

The primary role of a Card Services Specialist is to order cards, perform maintenance, and provide support to the Bank’s consumer and commercial customers for Debit and Credit Card products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and responsive service and troubleshooting assistance to clients utilizing debit and/or credit cards

  • Work hand-in-hand with internal teams to ensure the customers have an outstanding and reliable experience.

  • Process Reg E/MasterCard disputes

  • Ensure that the implementation and delivery of card services is completed within agreed upon timeframes, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Customer training on product usage ensuring best practices are implemented.

  • Process requests for maintenance and modifications to existing card products and services.

  • Collaborate with teammates and management in a resourceful and positive manner

  • Perform other daily operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4 -5+ years prior banking experience with advanced knowledge of card products.

  • Advanced knowledge/experience with customer service support.

  • Internally motivated, team-oriented, ability to make decisions, create change, and promote company and personal growth.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Physical Requirements:

  • Role requires sitting or standing in front of a computer monitor for prolonged periods of time in a fixed neck position.

  • Constant use of a computer or other office equipment resulting in repeating motions of the hands and wrists.

  • Light work that may include moving objects up to 20 pounds.
