Pacific Air Forces Maintenance Worker in Elmendorf AFB, Alaska


About the position:

This position will be assigned to the to the JBER Lodging. This is a Regular Part Time position. Regular Part-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 20 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Qualifying Experience:

Must have general working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance to include basic carpentry, plumbing, painting,electrical and related trades. Must have working knowledge for repair and maintenance of equipment, to include power mowers,snow blowers, vacuum cleaners and floor shampooers. Physical Effort: Continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, turning, or moving hands, arms, feet, and legs. Use hand and power tools and equipment such as hammers, saws, planes, drills, chisels, paintbrushes, spray guns, wire brushes, rollers, and putty knives. Frequently lifts and moves equipment, furniture, components, and objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
