There will be a 94% increase in the number of connected devices in a consumer’s home by the year 2025 and a 200% increase in in-home internet consumption by the year 2022. This dramatic increase in demand will require a team of customer-obsessed problem solvers that own the entire connectivity experience within the 4 walls of a customer’s home to ensure its success.
The Smart Home Manager and Wi-Fi Solutions team within the Broadband Technology Management organization at AT&T is tasked with solutioning the connected home of the future. From ensuring our customers have the best-in-class Wi-Fi gateways, extenders, digital apps, and connectivity tools, to designing bespoke solutions for multiple customer segments, this team is responsible with designing, delivering, and managing the connectivity experience for AT&T’s 15 million Consumer and SMB broadband customers.
Joining this team would provide you the opportunity to continue to drive adoption of our industry-leading Wi-Fi portfolio of equipment and digital apps (Smart Home Manager). AT&T Broadband has the best equipment in the market with the launch of our latest Wi-Fi gateway in December 2020 and the launch of our latest Wi-Fi extender in August 2021. In addition, the Smart Home Manager app is currently the #1 rated internet companion application on digital app stores. This role will design and package this portfolio of best-in-class solutions while staying at the forefront of innovation within the connectivity space.
As a Sr. Lead, Product Management and Development – Wi-Fi Solutions , you will have end-to-end ownership of product delivery, marketing, adoption, branding, P&L, volumes, and the customer journey for our current and upcoming Wi-Fi solutions.
Own end-to-end product development of AT&T Wi-Fi solution and value-add products
Act as a product ambassador and evangelist to internal and external stakeholders by providing product roadshows and articulating value propositions
Manage and showcase the Wi-Fi roadmap to inform the ‘who’, ‘what’, ‘when’, and ‘why’ of our deliverables
Develop business cases that incorporate emerging use cases of our expanding Wi-Fi portfolio of solutions
Take a high-level idea or requirement, and engage with various stakeholders to scope out the idea (including detailed requirements, mockups, Proof of Concepts, etc.) to a level of detail needed for technology teams to go through development
Explore and define ‘white space’ of opportunity within the connectivity experience
Define, organize, and document user stories, business and product requirements for new features
Be at the forefront of competitive research and analysis
Coordinate with Tech Dev, Program Leads, Field, Technical Care, Go-To-Market, and Digital to ensure alignment on product features and releases

What you should bring:
7-9 years of experience of technical product management of consumer-facing products
Knowledge and passion for the TMT (telecommunications, media, technology) industry
Understanding of technical project management frameworks
Strong written communicator: everyone looks forward to your emails

PowerPoint storyteller: articulate clever strategy; say a lot but don’t drown in the details
Excel ninja: craft data-informed narratives
