We're looking for an IT Support Specialist who can support the technical day-to-day needs of a growing and evolving business. The ideal team member is a natural problem solver and is eager to help in any way possible to keep the team focused on top priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction

  • Monitor ticketing system for support requests and resolve to completion with proper follow up or escalate when necessary

  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation

  • Utilize and maintain the help desk tracking software

  • Create internal and external support procedures and manuals

  • Assist with onboarding of new users and effectively communicate feedback to and from our team

  • Ensure each workstation has necessary equipment needed and any additional specialized equipment to support productivity

  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software

  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software

  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses

  • Configure passwords and accounts in Active Directory

  • Provide helpful training to computer users

  • Walk end users through a variety of problem-solving processes

  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), phone systems, virtual environments

  • Set up smart conference rooms for meetings, ensuring internet connectivity, and mirroring laptop to TV for presentations

  • Provide ad-hoc support and office management tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience with both Windows and Apple/Mac desktop support, small office printer support and general networking

  • Logical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

  • Effective time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Maintain confidentiality

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints

  • Maintain composure at all times

  • Maintain reliable attendance

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
