We could use someone with your customer service skills and passion for helping others to join our Alberta Impaired Driving Program. As Program Supervisor, the ultimate goal is to ensure seamless operations as well as ensuring that financial, developmental, design, quality assurance and evaluation targets are all being met. In addition, this role will support Driver Education with research, implementation and quality assurance of Driver Education programs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Report to the Manager, Operational Performance.
Plan and deliver programs which meet the overall strategic business objectives of the AIDP.
Coach/mentor/advance the AIDP team to ensure they have a well-developed understanding of the AIDP model and how it relates within AMA culture and strategic objectives.
Work in collaboration with the Transportation Safety Board, Alberta Transportation and the Provincial Impaired Driving Committee.
Deliver a current and relevant curriculum for suspended drivers convicted of impaired driving.
Ensure quality assurance standards through an ongoing observation program.
Increase overall efficiency and effectiveness of the program through the continuous review and improvement of administrative practices and procedures.
Lead the development of annual program goals, plans and strategies to maintain effectiveness of program.
Facilitate a cooperative culture and attitude that promotes collaboration, teamwork and effective program delivery.
Coach, mentor and develop staff to become fully competent in their role.
Be able to travel extensively at times to meet with the AIDP team, members, and customers in various communities across the province.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
You’ve got a post-secondary education in Social Services, Adult Psychology, Addictions Counselling, and/or equivalent industry experience.
You have at least five years of experience in a leadership role.
You have experience developing and managing short-term and long-term operation plans.
You have lots of experience with performance management (goal setting, measuring, monitoring and execution skills).
You’ve proven that you know how to get high quality results even within tight timelines.
