We are looking for an experienced individual who can lead and inspire a sales team to partner with the businesses that rely on our platforms to grow; someone who can develop strong client and agency relationships to deliver results for our clients and our business, while also playing a strategic role in developing the region. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone eager to run a high-performance team within the digital ecosystem, driving growth across a number of industries in the UK and Ireland.In this position, you will be directly responsible for leading a centralized sales team of Account Managers who consult with clients and agencies get the best results from their marketing campaigns on Facebook – through account planning, consultation, education, optimization, and support. Operating in a very fast-paced environment, this is a unique opportunity to influence strategy, develop a high-performing team who drive the strategic and commercial relationships with mid-sized companies and build strong internal cross functional alignment. In addition to developing a high-performing consultative sales team that exceeds quarterly targets, you'll be responsible for working with other teams across Facebook to create and grow markets, verticals and scale programs focused on improving the Facebook experience for our partners. Ideally, you will have strong experience in leading teams and have an exceptional ability to coach, develop and motivate team members; have a passion for growing revenue and helping clients succeed; have experience in creating and delivering excellent sales operations; have strong communication skills with experience in representing an organisation both internally and externally. Success in this position requires you to have a passion for leadership, strong analytical skills, experience within Sales Leadership, the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and a passion for helping others achieve results. This position is full-time and located in our EMEA HQ in Dublin, Ireland.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead a high-performing Sales team working directly with clients and/or agencies

  2. Develop & execute growth strategies within the sector you’re leading

  3. Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring and sharing results

  4. Achieve the goals set for your sector, such a Quotas, Product Adoption, etc.

  5. Team development including recruiting, training, mentorship and career guidance

  6. Develop and lead strategic programs to grow the business

  7. Provide business analytic strength to help facilitate initiatives critical to ongoing growth at market and regional levels

  8. Pro-actively achieve overall operational efficiency across sales and business operations

  9. Represent the GBG organisation with industry organisations, in the press, and with other Facebook teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years + experience in online media sales, agency, online advertising and marketing experience

  2. 5+ years’ experience of management experience with demonstrated experience of leading

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Extensive knowledge of advertising industry with a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem

  2. Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups to produce meaningful results

  3. Proven ability to develop strong working relationships internally and externally

  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  5. Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and organized

  6. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity

  7. Strong critical-thinking and creative problem-solving abilities

  8. Exceptional ability to prioritize and focus on driving growth
