THE ROLE OF AN ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT

The SAP Enterprise Architect role is both strategic and technical in nature. You will provide a holistic view of digital transformation by bridging the gap between business capabilities and technology enablers to drive strategic business outcomes. As an SAP Enterprise Architect you will work with some of the worlds most dynamic and innovative customers supporting the design, development and deployment of transitional and future state systems. Of equal importance the Enterprise Architect provides executive guidance and advisory services addressing elements of business process and technology supported innovation.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Passion for emerging technology capabilities necessary to extend or defend competitive differentiation.

-You will be a trusted advisor to our internal SAP account teams tasked with landing, absorbing, consuming and expanding a broad portfolio of SAP solutions.

-You are a strategic thinker, curious, engaging and collaborative with SAP customers, business partners and numerous other SAP teams and stakeholders actively engaged in sales pursuits and deployment efforts.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

-Executive Presence - Strong business communication skills, comfortable presenting to C-level executives, ability to clearly articulate product strategy in succinct fashion.

-Solution Expertise Extensive knowledge of the SAP solution portfolio with strong concentration in core ERP solutions including ECC and S/4HANA.

-Solution Lifecycle Expertise Ideally have lifecycle managed a diverse SAP solution landscape at a customer.

-Cloud/Hyperscaler Expertise Ideally have a strong working knowledge of SaaS and IaaS design, deployment & management of multi-cloud and on premise or hybrid environments .

-Passion to learn/develop an in-depth understanding of SAPs Cloud Strategy including solution portfolio and architectural guidelines. Broad knowledge of end-to-end business processes and underlying solution capabilities.

-Technical Layer Expertise Strength/expertise surrounding the SAP technology stack and the ability to incorporate with any major hyperscalers reference architecture. Understanding of integration techniques and strategies for SAP & 3rd party products. Experience designing multi-cloud integration strategies.

-Industry Knowledge Knowledge of one or more industries required.

-SAP Business Partner Ecosystem Involvement Passion for sharing with your peers and customers via knowledge sharing (industry specific events, user groups, SAP insider, TechEd, SAPPHIRE).

WORK EXPERIENCE

-Minimum 8-10 years in a relevant strategic consulting, advisory or customer role

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelors degree, Masters degree preferred (MS/MBA)
