Description of Job
The Technical Operations Unit exists to support the Division of Workers’ Compensation through collaboration with OIT and maintenance of information system structures involving automated computer systems including technical support services. Unit analyzes business technical processes and integrates user acceptance and performance testing processes within the lifecycle business work flows for selected DOWC Units.
This position is responsible for partnering with Technical Stakeholders and Business team to define business needs and compile business requirements on complex projects. Verification of deliverables that accurately depict customer business requirements, functional specifications, process workflow diagrams and test scripts. Position is responsible for analysis, research, project implementation processes including all UAT and user-performance testing documentation spanning end-to-end business processes integrated within DOWC computer systems.
Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment.
Two years of professional experience in a combination of the following: systems administration, information technology, business analysis, database management, system testing, process improvement, and/or Worker's Compensation experience.
Additional appropriate experience will substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
