Financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting will be among your duties as Senior Accountant. Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations Requirements - 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Microsoft Excel experience desired
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills
Prior work done in public accounting is desired
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
