Alliances Marketing Specialist - AWS Alliance (Consultant)

Role Overview

Deloitte's full-service marketing organization is seeking an innovative marketing professional who is comfortable executing marketing strategies to drive growth of Deloitte Consulting's AWS alliance. The Alliances Marketing Specialist will combine marketing expertise and digital experience with strong relationship and project management skills to execute and deliver on integrated marketing campaigns. In this role, you will implement client-facing programs and event sponsorships that enable sales and support demand generation. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to clearly define requirements and deliver expected results.

As the Alliances Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing defined marketing programs to create internal and external awareness of technology solutions in a fast-paced team environment. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for crafting integrated campaigns that leverage marketing techniques such as lead generation, lead nurturing, digital and social media marketing. This role supports Deloitte's Ecosystems & Alliances (E&A) business strategy and collaborates with some of the world's leading technology providers to address business challenges and meet new market needs.

Work You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Strategic Marketing Planning - Build integrated marketing campaign strategies to differentiate Deloitte's relationship with AWS based on a deep understanding of the business strategy and priorities

  • Messaging & Positioning - Support the development of strategic messaging, positioning and target audience development to advance awareness and build demand for capabilities, offerings, solutions and successes across the broader organization and in the marketplace

  • Content Strategy & Development - Collaborate with subject matter experts and marketing agency resources to establish content strategy, and oversee production of material suites over various channels (digital, print, social, video, etc.) to aid with local activation in targeted geographies

  • Campaign Development & Implementation - Manage execution of marketing activations, including but not limited to thought leadership (eminence, reports, surveys), Deloitte-hosted and third-party events, externally-facing videos and webcasts, speaking opportunities for alliance leaders, social media and blogging, and digital advertising; liaise with internal and/or agency partners to launch and optimize

  • Data & Analytics - Track, monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and contribute to the creation of ROI reports; implement new programs based on an understanding of business goals, and work closely with cross-functional teams to apply agile principles that enable tracking of alliance marketing investments

    Qualifications | Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations or related field

  • 3+ years of professional B2B marketing experience in technology or professional services, including an understanding of how marketing and comms strategies and tactics come together to provide measurable results

  • Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the clients and industries/sectors you serve

    Qualifications | Preferred

  • Alliance marketing experience with cloud technologies

  • Creative mindset with passion and drive to foster innovation in marketing and communications

  • Depth of experience in designing and executing B2B content marketing and digital campaigns; experience working closely with creative and agency resources in support of campaign development and execution

  • Team-oriented approach, with ability to take initiative, prioritize and simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while meeting client expectations and deadlines

  • Experience working with a team in a virtual mode with remote resources; track record of achieving success in a matrixed organization.

  • Strong project management skills, with attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills; proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and objectives

  • Flexibility, adaptability and level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities

  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Polished executive presence and professional client service manner

  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 to $163,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
