Senior Financial Analyst (000026FT)AmerisourceBergen is searching for a driven and dynamic Senior Financial Analyst with solid technology and financial management acumen to join the IT Finance team within the Information Technology organization. The IT Finance team supports the CIO and the CIO Executive Leadership Team in strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial areas. As a part of the IT Finance team, you will report directly to the Sr. Director of IT Finance assisting in supporting the Commercial IT DandS Domain.The Senior Financial Analyst must have a strong financial analysis background with proven career progression, problem solving skills, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively. You will provide support to the Commercial IT DandS key stakeholders through technical expertise, financial analytics, driving process and data improvement.Responsibilities:Provide variance analysis comparing actual technology spend versus plan, forecast, and prior year.Perform and coordinate project-based financial analysis and modeling to support reporting of the operation and capital spend. Including assisting in business case preparation and submission for financial investment.Review department results with Commercial IT DandS Senior Leadership team on a monthly basis to highlight performance and coordinate on forecasts.Assess the impact of operational changes and cost saving initiatives using financial and computer modeling tools and techniques.Analyze trends and cost drivers and highlight risks and opportunities.Support the Annual Planning and Monthly Forecasting process for the Commercial IT DandS organization.Create insightful and actionable analyses to explain and act upon significant business initiatives.Create recurring or ad-hoc reports and models for the purpose of allowing management to make data driven decisions.Works with Commercial IT DandS Senior Leadership team to prepare FTE requests.Complete monthly close process including accruals and adjusting entries.Perform other duties as assigned by management.QualificationsJob Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.4-6 years of FPandA experience in a large corporate environment.Experience working in an IT environment a plus.Strong analytical reasoning, technical and financial acumen, data analytics and report development.Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel required.Ability to work independently and with disparate systems.Able to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills and high level of attention to detail.Able to interpret large sets of data, formulate conclusions and provide executive summary analysis with actionable outcomes.Excels in developing good working relationships and effectively collaborates with teams across the enterprise.Experience with SAP, Hyperion, and Apptio preferred.Organization: ITEqual Opportunity Employer/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran
