Ohio State University Sr. Business Analyst in Columbus, Ohio

Summary of Duties:

The Business Analyst will be a part of the Enterprise Business Solutions Delivery Support Team and will support continuous improvement of business processes by leading and performing cross functional solutions analysis, design, configuration, testing and implementation across the Workday business areas and integrating systems that support the business process.

In this role, the Business Analyst will collaborate with Business Enablement teams, end users, business sponsors and application teams outside of Workday to confirm business requirements, identify solutions that support the end to end business process and enhance business capabilities. The Business Analyst will maintain breadth of knowledge across multiple business processes and the applications that support the processes.

Under guidance from Delivery Support Team leadership, the Business Analyst contributes to the creation of deliverables of the highest quality and presents leading practice solutions for Ohio State. The Business Analyst will support the objectives of the Delivery Support team, document processes and requirements, perform system configuration, coordinate, plan and execute testing efforts, and use a variety of project management tools to track and report status and progress. The successful candidate is an excellent communicator, critical thinker, motivated with a positive attitude, and able to independently work on and balance priorities for multiple initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; four years of relevant experience required; demonstrated experience in identifying, designing, testing, and implementing system solutions. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and tasks, is required. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, peers, executive leadership, customers, vendors, technical team members and others.

Desired Qualifications:

4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. Strongly prefer candidates with demonstrated experience with Workday configuration or administration. Strongly prefer candidates that have experience with complex, large-scale ERP, preferably cloud ERP/specifically Workday. It is preferred that the candidate has a background with higher education, and/or with healthcare/academic medical center experience. Also prefer candidates with PMP, CAPM, Lean/Six Sigma

Target Salary: $79,000.00 - $105,000.00 Annually
