JPMorgan Chase Consumer & Community Banking - Control Manager - Quality Assurance - Vice President in Columbus, Ohio

The Control Management Organization Quality Analysis Manger will lead a team of qualified Quality Assurance Specialists and Manager aligned with a risk, line of business, regulatory requirement of QA program. Work in partnership with business lines and other control processes, to provide guidance in the identification, assessment, management and resolution of operational risk challenges. Responsibilities include oversight and examination of quality and other control processes in the lines of business including review and advisory consultation on scope, sampling, testing, reporting and effectiveness of corrective actions; Re-performance of quality tests conducted by the lines of business for validation purposes and the performance of discretionary testing as emerging risks are identified. This role leads, coordinates and directs the daily operations and workflows of the Firmwide Sworn Document QA program.


  • Manages the Quality Assurance (QA) processes across multiple sites and/or lines of business, including the implementation of operational policies and plans

  • Monitors the control environment, operational environment, and/or customer interactions for multiple lines of Business / operations

  • Manages and directs overall team activities and monitors progress

  • Engages other line of defense partners to review or escalate findings

  • Identities Action Plan and improvement opportunities based on issues, escalation thresholds, etc. and potentially assists in creation and validation of Action Plans, as needed

  • Recommends and implements enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency of services and systems, including Identifying potential testing activities for enhancements and alternative methods (e.g., offshore delivery, automation, etc.)

  • Manages multiple resources and operating expenses

  • Interacts with executives and other senior managers

  • Presents business updates to senior CMO QA leadership


  • 5-7 years minimum of operational risk and control oversight experience (i.e. Quality Assurance, Compliance, Audit, etc.)

  • 2-3 years minimum of senior level risk management and reporting experience

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, finance, or related field is preferred

  • Strategic planning and budget management

  • Strong knowledge of product and industry standards including Regulatory and Legal requirements

  • Corporate policies, business services and systems

  • Professionalism, self-motivation, and working with urgency

  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements while ensuring quality adherence

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects

  • Risk and Control Management mindset

  • Issue Resolution and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal comhmunication skills
