Description
Robert Half Finance has partnered with a well-established shared services organization in Colorado Springs seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this Senior Accountant position, you will be in charge of preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, as well as managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. The Senior Accountant should come with intercompany accounting experience, be proficient with GAAP, have a proven ability to lead teams, and have a self-starter mentality with a results-driven focus. The Senior Accountant candidate should enjoy analytical tasks, challenges, and fast-paced environments. How you will make an impact
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Requirements
3+ years of Full-cycle Accounting experience
Intercompany Accounting experience
US GAAP knowledge
Must have excellent time management skills
Proven ability to lead a team
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, highly preferred
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent oral and written communications skills
