This position is for the Cyber Security Engineer on the COOLR program.
In this role you will support multiple unique projects occurring at the same time while working amongst a diverse team of Cyber Professionals.

• Experience with Linux (RHEL or Ubuntu) as well as Solaris
• Solid understanding of Defensive Cyber Tools such as Splunk, Snort, Bro, & Wireshark
• Networking fundamentals
• Basic understanding of VMWare architectures
• Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, etc.) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Cybersecurity engineering experience with embedded systems development for DoD
• Solid understanding of Red Hat Enterprise solutions such as Red Hat Identity Management, Red Hat Satellite, & Ansible Engine
• Vulnerability Analysis
• Experience performing penetration tests
• Experience with Solaris
• Familiarity with DoD and DISA Cybersecurity Standards (DoD 8500, STIGs, and STIG Tools)
