Model Based Definition intends at providing all Product Manufacturing Information at 3D model level. In the framework of a transition to MBD, this project aims at defining model attribute and pushing this information into Product Lifecycle management system that drives procurement. Define attributes at 3D model level in Creo:
Envelop dimensions and Weight through a generic envelop to be applied to various 3D models in Creo, then extract Envelop dimension and mass properties as parameter in Creo. Those parameters can then be designated as Model attribute in Windchill PDMLink and Published to Dassault GEMS3DX PLM.
3TG : Tantalum, Tungsten, Tin and Gold attributes from Material files assigned to 3D model
Serial and Batch Control attributes : Based on Marking specifications on Model, define a parameter value to populate Serial or Batch Control as model attributes to be published to EMS3DX
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Create parametrized envelop model in Creo that fits any shape.
Develop code in Creo that generate attributes values at 3D model level.
Create model check rules to designate those parameters
Publish model information from Creo to PLM system
