AT&T Technical Sales Manager in Chicago, Illinois
Overall Purpose: Oversees pre-sales technical support activities for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. Builds a technical sales team that provides technical, architecture and innovative solutions that drive sales revenue and ensure customers adopt Company products and services.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Supports Company strategy by ensuring Company sales goals are achieved through proper determination of how the company can meet customer requirements and system configurations within time and cost constraints. Plans and allocates work among the technical support team to ensure quality pre/post sale support on integration and implementation of Company products/services/systems/solutions. Ensures technical support team members are kept up-to-date on new Company products and enhancements to existing products. Maintains extensive knowledge of engineering and complex aspects of Company products and services. Manages the work efforts of individual contributor direct reports and influences hire/fire, performance appraisal, and pay review decisions. Responsible for leading and inspiring your team, managing and driving for results, growth and mentoring and development of direct reports.
Education: Typically requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent.
Experience: Typically requires 8 to 10 years direct work experience and one year leadership responsibility.
