As a member of the Enterprise Architecture Services team, you will be at the forefront of guiding Health Care Service Corporation toward the future by leading a matrixed team of architects who will help you in defining the future-state enterprise architecture of our largest line of business. Enabling our business processes with new and innovative ways to deliver services and value to our customers will require someone with the ability to partner with business & IT stakeholders and executives, is a respected leader who works well with others, has enough charisma to influence and guide others in challenging situations, and is motivated by long-term results while addressing short-term needs.
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Management, Programming, Economics, Engineering, OR related discipline with an advanced degree preferred, or its equivalent.
12+ years of IT experience including with strong knowledge in the following domains of Enterprise Architecture: Business Architecture, Applications Architecture, Information/Data Architecture and Technical Architecture.
Strong stakeholder management skills and leadership skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills with ability to quickly develop impactful presentations.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Strategic minded thinking with critical thinking skills, strong analytical skills, and creative problem-solving ability.
Experienced in conducting Architecture Assessments and developing Technology Roadmaps.
Significant experience with Solution Architecture.
Application Portfolio Management, Technology Lifecycle Management, Project Portfolio Management expertise.
Ability to quickly learn in a rapidly changing environment and make an impact.
Proactive mindset and ability to drive outcomes to completion while negotiating with various matrixed stakeholders.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Technology consulting experience from a management consulting firm
Experience in healthcare payer or other related or regulated industries
Recent solution experience in distributed and cloud technology environments such as Azure, AWS, PCF, MuleSoft or Salesforce
