TEKsystems Technical Writer/Consumer Communications in Charlotte, North Carolina
Client is looking to stand up a tech writing team to focus on a customer letter writing template to address any consumer issues. The goals of this team will be to reduce the number of redundant customer facing letters across the team, enhance letter content to ensure readability, inclusion of appropriate details, and customer friendliness, and to identify the right mechanism for delivery of the details to the customer (e.g. should a letter actually be an email).
Managing content development and approval. You’ll host calls to get answers to questions that’ll help you craft customer-friendly copy. You’ll review drafts with your business and governance partners to ensure the copy is accurate and mitigates business risks. All the while, you’ll work with your communication delivery partners to help you deliver final copy that’s ready for production. You’ll track the entire content development and approval process and meet deadlines. You’ll also keep all your drafts and relevant information in our department’s repository.

Top Skills Details:
3 + years of customer communication and publication experience. (The experience needs to reflect writing for customer facing correspondences). The materials would be formal complaint follow up & resolution.
The ability to create simple, transparent, and caring communications that support their brand.
Experience building relationships with business subject matter experts, governance partners, and communication delivery partners and experience managing content development & approval (hosting calls to get answers to questions)
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of customer communication and publication experience (The experience needs to reflect writing for customer facing correspondences).
BS/BA or higher in English, journalism, professional writing, creative writing, education, communications or marketing
Experience writing and editing external communications
Experience communicating and presenting complex information
Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment
Will be remote/WFH but will need to sit in central hub city such as Charlotte for occasional onsite meetings
