Description Robert Half is working with a fast-growing, dynamic team looking for a Financial Analyst who will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This role is with a company in the IT Services industry. This Financial Analyst role is a short-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area. We are seeking Financial Analyst candidates who are comfortable with conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. Among the Financial Analyst'Microsoft other duties will be advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management.
Research performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
Individual that enjoys a flexible work environment, experienced in handling vast amounts of information and managing expectations
Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Work closely with business partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Review annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations
Manage monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Gather and oversee forecasting reports
Empower effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Contribute to weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting Requirements - Commercial Leasing experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Leasing Consultant
Proficiency in real estate leasing
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience recommended)
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system
