Join the Truist Marketing team as a key Retention partner for our growing Truist Mortgage Portfolio. Leverage your expertise to drive a client-first approach for retention utilizing your marketing experience with a focus on building relationship/segment focused marketing journeys to keep Truist top of mind after the loan has closed an onboarded into our Servicing platform.

Utilize your thought-leadership expertise to guide marketing and agency partners to digital ecosystem. Guide how we should be thinking differently about how to serve our current clients and new to the bank households. Build test and learn plans, optimizing targeting, messaging and creative. Be comfortable delivering quantitative performance analysis to leadership teams, leveraging implications to craft recommendations and out of the box ideas.

While this role is an individual contributor – you will need to have the navigational skills to consult with and rely on multiple partners across an evolving matrix organization. As part of the Marketing team, you will have significant support to help guide your test and learn approach, as well as the resources to execute upon it.

You must be comfortable performing as a collaborator and project manager – representing the client-first approach to support the Truist Purpose and Brand.

  • Apply in-depth and specialized expertise and/or a significant breadth of expertise in Marketing and other related disciplines including creative development and market research.

  • Manage large marketing initiatives, utilizing all marketing channels include digital.

  • Interpret internal/external business challenges, including client needs and competitive marketplace and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.

  • Apply a comprehensive understanding of how the business operates to solve technical, operational, and business problems.

  • Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.

  • Mentor less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise.

  • Directly impact the achievement of client, operational, project, service, and risk management objectives.

  • May have people management responsibilities.

  • Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex and unusual situations.

  • Deliver programs on budget and on time.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training

  • Five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Marketing discipline (e.g., Marketing P’s, Market research, analytics, digital)

  • Experience managing or leading projects or project work streams and operates as a lead in a specialty capacity

  • Knowledge of client needs and competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market

  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders

  • Ability to provide direction, coaching and mentor teammates

  • Fluent in Excel and PowerPoint, preparing dynamic presentations for senior level teammates

  • Developing presentation skills and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in related field

  • Ten years of related experience

  • Previous experience in financial services, retail or packaged goods industries

  • Consumer/Commercial/Corporate/Wealthbanking product and/or segment marketing experience

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM platform

  • Previous experience delivering quantitative performance analysis highly desired
