The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

It is an exciting time to be a part of Wells Fargo’s Supply Chain Management Procure to Pay team! The Procure to Pay team provides oversight to and manages the company wide procure-to-pay program. The team is responsible for maintaining third-party service provider listings, ensuring appropriate controls are established with third party service providers, creating purchase orders and requisitions and managing payments to third party service providers.

This position in Enabling Capabilities will help shape and transform procurement and payment processes as the organization builds out an integrated source-to-pay platform and aligns payments with upstream third party risk activities. As a senior level consultant on the team, you will be a process subject matter expert and will be responsible for process improvement and (re)design, focused on reducing risk for the organization, process and operational simplification and continuous process improvement. You will work with key internal and external subject matter experts to design processes, procedures and controls, and create implementation plans to enable deployment of new programs and initiatives.

The position will report to the Supplier Enablement Leader within Supply Chain Management’s Procure to Pay team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to define and execute enterprise procurement strategies and supplier capabilities for commodities and spend categories to achieve enterprise-wide business objectives.

  • Document and communicate strategy and business plans to all levels of management

  • Provide leadership and consulting for our SCM LOBs, utilizing in-depth expertise about Procure-to-Pay practices and standards to execute supply chain management solutions

  • Identify opportunities to collaborate with other SCM partners to establish best practices that can incorporate into risk initiatives

  • Identify requirements (business, technical, experience) leading the cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning

  • 5+ years of procurement and supply chain management experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement or invoicing

  • Strong project management skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to prepare management level presentations

  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement, provisioning, or invoicing functions support

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

AZ-Chandler: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000 Max: $201,500

NC-Charlotte: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000 Max: $201,500

IA-Des Moines: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000 Max: $201,500

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000 Max: $201,500
