Our Business Service Center site employs around 600 people. Eaton’s EMEA BSC was established in 2015. Our mission is to provide high value and services to support internal and external customers across Eaton’s Electrical, Hydraulics, and corporate functions in EMEA.
Come and join our young, ambitious and friendly international Electrical Material Planning team with diverse skill set and memberes across Hungary, India, UK, Czech Republic. Our team is looking to be center of excellence in Material Planning in EMEA region.
As a Material Planner, you will manage value stream from supplier to distribution centre, will be responsible for material availability and electrical finish goods inventory management. Maintains system inventory records and enters transactions. Achieve customer satisfaction through effective planning. You will reporting directly to the Site Material Planner Team Leader.
What you will do:
Manage flow of Finish Goods between Suppliers/Factories and Distribution Center
Ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time
Utilize SAP Requirements Planning (MRP) module
Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers
Manage inquiries from customer service
Communicate to customer service in case there are changes to the supply plan that affect promised sales order dates
Make decision regarding MTS orders
Ensure that planning data (policies and parameters) on the ERP system are accurate and continuously adapted to current scenarios
Investigate and solve reasons of Blocked Invoices
Provide Forecast to Vendors
Track and take continuous improvement actions for Material Planning KPI - On-time Delivery (OTD); Stock fill rate (SFR)
Understand and managing risks to minimize impact on planning KPI
Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect planning KPI
Organize delivery from Suppliers to Distribution Center
Be part of challenging projects and stakeholder of several improvements
Collaborate with Internal and External stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials to the Distribution Center
We are looking for a team member who is/has:
Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Confident user of SAP and MS Office
Min. 2 years` experience in planning/sourcing/logistics area
Open and proactive
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willing to take ownership
