Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of UX and UI designers, researchers, content strategists, engineers, and managers from product and marketing throughout the design process — from strategy to pixel-perfect design. At each stage, you will advocate for our customers and ensure that the final product meets user needs.As a Senior UI Designer part of the UX Strategy team, you will be contributing to high-visibility efforts to articulate our vision for future experiences. You will collaborate closely with other UX team members to generate elegant UI solutions that address user pain points and also elevate our Brand. This role is focused on visual design, but it’s much more than “coloring wireframes”. We are looking for a very talented and motivated designer who can create elegant and engaging concepts to effectively communicate innovative ideas with pixel-perfect designs, impeccable typography, and clever interactions. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a Fortune 5 company.Responsibilities• Collaborate with UX team members and product, business and technology partners to ensure shared understanding of business and user goals• Lead the design of user interfaces and visuals for native and responsive web platforms• Work alongside UX designers, researchers, engineers and product managers to ensure that we’re solving the right problem, the right way• Work within our UI Kit and brand style guide to deliver high quality, polished user interface designs, assets and specs• Conceptualize, design and define breakthrough user experiences, drawing inspiration from research, user goals, and the world around you• Work with our copy, visual design and accessibility teams to ensure all work is compliant with our brand, copy and accessibility guidelines.• Partner with research, optimization, and analytics teams when appropriate to inform and validate design decisions• Gain stakeholder support for designs by clearly communicating design vision and rationale• Translate complex cognitive challenges across multiple projects into elegant user experiences delivered across multiple channels (digital, phone, in store)• Develop deep understanding of customer journeys, personas and segmentation within your portfolio of projects
• 7+ years of experience in UI design• 5+ years of experience (expertise) in responsive web design and mobile U• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative problem solving with excellent attention to detail, mastery of typography, color, iconography and spacing
• Demonstrable experience designing for web (desktop, mobile) and/or native (iOS, Android) platforms• Ability to take a strategic design approach factoring in user research, user test findings and technical capabilities to inform the user interface solution• Experience producing designs for large-scale, enterprise products in an agile environment• Experience with iOS and/or Material native UI guidelines and patterns• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skill• Lean/iterative mindset; be open to adapting in order to meet customer and business needs process• Expert knowledge working with Sketch and Invision
Bachelor's degree or work equivalent experience
