You'll play your part by designing technically complex, integrated mobile solutions to BT’s Enterprise customers. You'll be the bridge between these amazing technical innovations and the needs of the customer, bringing them together to develop solutions that fit perfectly.

You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Enterprise sales team as they search out new business

  • Act as a Technical Consultant throughout Technical Account Development, Technical Sale, Solution Design and System Preparation stages

  • Join customer meetings (telephone and online) and use your expert technical knowledge to show customers how mobile and fixed networking technologies could improve their business processes

  • Be the go-to expert for sales teams and customers as you define and propose innovative technical solutions ̶ influencing the customer’s decision to choose BT as their solution partner.

  • Work with 3rd party technology partners to resolve customer needs

  • Get out and about to industry forums, exhibitions, seminars and promotional events

You'll have the following skills & experience

  • Be that rare individual, who's at home in both technical and sales settings.

  • Bring heavy duty experience of technical pre-sales in an area such as IT services, telecommunications, network operations or internet services.

  • Be an expert in technologies such as LAN’s, Mobile Networks, Mobile Device Management, Microsoft AD, Exchange Server, VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation.

  • Be able to coach, support and convince people from all walks of life.

  • Have the experience and the communication skills to be a trusted technical adviser and an asset to the sales team.

  • Be a good communicator, able to think strategically and plan ahead.
