Experience Required 10 to 15 Years.
Provides custom integration implementation support on EMC products involving software, at the customer site, including pre-site inspection, initial installation, implementation, customization, integration and outline orientation for the customer. Works closely with EMC Sales, Customer
Service, Project Managers and other TS personnel, Corporate Technical Support and the customer to ensure a smooth implementation and transition from start-up to integration/production mode. Capable of working with minimal supervision. Considered an expert in the implementation and use of EMC software and hardware products. Knowledgeable of industry best practices in the implementation of complex storage environments. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with EMC Sales, TS and external customers. Job requires communicating with global and local stakeholders within and outside EMC remotely.
Knowledge on DELL EMC products & technologies like Symmetrix/DMX, VMAX/VMAX3, VNX/Unity, XTREMEIO, ISILON, Recoverpoint etc.
Implementation skills on SAN, NAS, CISCO/Brocade SAN Fabrics implementation, ISL, Port Channeling/trucking and zoning.
Knowledge and working experience of implementing and designing of Data Migration within DELL EMC and Non DELL EMC Storage hardware.
Knowledge and working experience on DELL EMC Software’s like SAN copy, Open replicator, PPME, SRDF, Solutions Enabler, Time Finder, Recoverpoint, PowerPath.
Strong knowledge on operating systems like UNIX and Windows and awareness on Virtualization and VMware.
An implementation skill on DELL EMC, Non DELL EMC products is a must.
Specialist Certification in any of DELL EMC products, ITIL is an added advantage.
Integrating different applications like Oracle, Sql, Sybase, SAP etc. into storage is an added plus.
Experience on virtualizing storage array environment & data mobility using VPLEX is added plus.
Strong communication skills and exposure to international customers and ability to demonstrate Sense of urgency regarding customer reported issues
