In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better

In this role you will have the opportunity to assess and oversee all technology-related compliance issues across the organization including information Security, Privacy, Sarbanes Oxley Act, Medical Device Regulations, PCI DSS and Export Control. This includes enabling objective risk assessments of the company's compliance with regulatory, organizational and commercial requirements governing the organization's information technology systems. You will also direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and controls to ensure that the organization's practices remain observant to all pertinent local, state/province/county and federal laws and industry standards. In this role, you will working directly with non-IT compliance professionals such as legal, audit and corporate compliance to ensure organizational alignment. You will also guide & facilitate internal and external audits and CAPAS and manage resolution to due date.

Key areas of responsibilities

IT Compliance Strategy & policies

  • Deploy the Philips IT compliance management for Data Migration programs (Sox, Privacy, IT Security, Export control) to assigned portfolio align with external audit partners and internal stakeholders in a manner that fulfils the mission and strategic goals while complying with internal, external regulations and accreditation standards.

Monitoring and Control

  • Collaborate with IT PM on data migration & related tools training needs

  • Provide guidance on assessment of Q&R & Non-Q&R relevance, ETL approach along with classification of data model for Q&R and ICS controls (for Non SAP projects).

  • Collaborate with project team on the data sampling technic for non SAP projects

  • Identify and implement corrective action where appropriate(programs, projects, systems). Formulate mitigation plans which optimally balance potential impact & probability vs. mitigation effort

  • Drive discussions with project team on the validation approach for data migration projects

  • Ensure all the Q&R deliverables are adhered by the project teams which is part of Data migration process.

  • Review data migration requirement specifications

  • Collaborate with Quality assurance team for the review activity of Q&R deliverables.

  • Investigate and analyse root causes, patterns, or trends during the report verification

  • Prepare Compliance status dashboards

Representation and Communication

  • Ensure IT Compliance Risks proper disclosure to IT Management, audit committee and relevant partners.

Compliance Competences

  • Thorough understanding of the Philips compliance domains, like Q&R, Information Security, Internal Controls & Privacy domains

  • Operational activities like acquiring, evaluating sample range to evaluate quality , accuracy is part of responsibility;

  • Ability to act as Compliance officer for important projects and monitoring of process compliance.

Your Team

This role is part of Strategy and Governance in the IT Operating Model within the Compliance team, reporting to Senior Manager IT Compliance.

We are looking for

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in information systems, or business administration

  • Preferably certified as CISA, CIPP/E or CISSP or at least in-depth knowledge of these IT audit/control and IT security domains including Medical Device Regulations and Privacy

  • A thorough understanding IT Software validation processes and best practices

  • Experience in process design activities and the ability to align the (conflicting) demands of multiple stakeholders

  • A proven ability of deploying new ways of working in a global organization

  • International experience/global cultural awareness

  • A minimum of 7 year’s experience, with 5 years involved in Compliancy functions,

  • Experience in SAP development / project capacity

  • A proven ability to communicate on all levels in our organization

  • An understanding of understanding of information security concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies

  • Have strong project management skills, and experience in creating and managing project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation

  • Proficiency in performing Compliance, business impact, control and risk assessments, and defining mitigation strategies
