ePac LLC Business Analyst in Austin, United States

The Business Analyst is responsible for conducting system analysis, configuring the ERP system, training end users, documenting systems processes, and building reports. This position is ideal for an ambitious, detail-oriented professional who seeks to join a growing company. This position will also provide the opportunity for independent initiative and judgment to improve systems and software applications, the ePac service offering, and reporting.   • Configuration and deployment of ePac ERP system and enhancements (MS Dynamics NAV/PrintVis) for all ePac plants - current and future

  • Provide day-to-day end user support for ERP system (business processes, systems processes)

  • Analyze existing systems and processes to generate user friendly multi-media training material

  • Develop training materials, videos, online sessions, handouts and exams

  • Configure online training platform to support the training needs

  • Conduct onsite and remote training sessions with new and existing ePac employees

  • Provide direction and guidance to employees during periods of ePac system implementations and upgrades

  • Develop best practices for use of systems to support the ePac business and processes

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and training materials related to the flexible packaging industry and ePac systems

  • Act as liaison between ePac and ERP support providers

  • BI Report Development

  • Capture requirements for systems ("the what") to build or workflows to implement

  • Breakdown workflows into understandable stories for the development team

  • Document Departmental and Interdepartmental Business Processes

  • Identity Actors, Roles and Responsibilities of Business Processes

  • Abstract and document the "Real Life" Business Workflows while extracting important information (we do not need a note taker)

  • Illustrate Workflows

  • Challenge The Status Quo of existing Business Processes by asking for the "why"


  • Assist in developing documentation and procedures to improve ePac?s technology operations and transparency in reporting

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Utilize all available resources (other than only Google) to obtain answers to questions


  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to be effective at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner

  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of quality

  • Good time management skills and able to shift priorities

  • Ability to adjust in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be a team player and able to multitask

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Passionate about software systems

  • Self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, and innovative


  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred

  • Dynamics NAV/Business Central/PrintVis experience is preferred

  • Experience in an instructional capacity (teaching or previous training experience) preferred

  • Experience in conducting remote online training sessions and exams

  • Previously demonstrated success as a Multimedia Implementation Trainer is preferred
