Job Description

  • Lead and coordinate cycle counts within Value Stream.

  • Train and audit employees on all Plex initiatives.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and track levels of raw and finished goods.

  • Perform root-cause analyses over inventory variation and correct discrepancies.

  • Work flexible hours to address the needs of all shifts within Value Stream.

  • Help production and quality with continuous improvement projects.

  • Help training operators on existing and new equipment and their interaction with Plex.

  • Responsible for good housekeeping of work area and equipment.

  • May be given certain authority within job scope by Manager.

  • Each employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent a violation of the Federal-Mogul Integrity Policy.

  • All employees will abide by the plant’s safety policy, comply with the legal and other requirements and operational controls established, work toward achieving established objectives and targets, and conform to procedures consistent with the ISO 14001 standard. An employee should report, and if necessary stop, any activity that does not conform to the policy or may injure himself/herself.

Capable of providing support as requested by the Value Stream Manager.

Required Skills

Education:

Expect to be pursuing higher technical education.

Required Experience

Prior experience with Plex highly preferred. Ability to train on Plex Control Panel, focus on loading and unloading of inventory as well as production reporting including scrap. Must have good communication skills and computer skills. Must have strong problem-solving skills. Must have knowledge of common spreadsheet such as MS Excel.
